In March of 2025, I became the Editor-in-Chief of SCAD’s fashion publication, The Manor. I previously worked at The Manor as a contributor, then Culture Editor, the Copy Director, before becoming EIC. My responsibilities include crafting our editorial style, collaborating with our Art Director on visual style, and our Copy Director on writing style.
As Editor-in-Chief, I lead weekly meetings of a core team of 13 editors and manage communications with over 250 collaborators. I lead our coverage of the SCAD Fashion Show, the SCAD Savannah Film Festival, and interviews with industry guests.
IMy biggest accomplishment was starting a print issue. After 6 months of designing, in September of 2025, we released the first Issue of The Manor. Based on an urge to create a connected story, the idea for a biannual issue was born. We hope to grow this issue into something greater than The Manor. Funded, crafted, and printed by our team, each edition is a digital and limited edition physical run.
