Ever since the Spring Summer 2025 Baum Und Pferdgarten show titled “Office Olympics”, we at Marmalade have become obsessed. With movies like King Richard, and newer releases such as Challengers, tennis has become more mainstream than ever.
When an opportunity arose with a challenge from Baum Und Pferdgarten themselves, to design a window display for their new fall line, we had no choice but to take it on the court.
Combining our love for fashion with sports, our display takes on a world of its own, with on-court silhouettes meshing with off-court styling. Inspired heavily by their Office Olympics show, where they combined traditional sportswear with workwear, we wanted to do the same.
For styling, most of their fall line is workwear-inspired. Cropped jackets and blazers are some of our favorites. They also played with sequins in both mini and maxi skirts. A neon-printed jacket from them made the perfect edition to match the tennis theme.
We had so much fun creating our display that it only made sense to get out on the court and shoot some of these looks (and maybe play a few sets).
The pieces are fun and unconventional, so it only made sense to style them as such. Using a mesh skirt as a dress makes for some fun proportions. A double-layered jacket adds extra texture instead of just wearing your same old button-up. Throw on some sweatbands and a gold metal or two and you are a tennis star in the making (or don’t the look still works).
Although we love the Baum collection we couldn’t help but throw in a couple of other pieces. A double-layer tank is the perfect addition to elevate your off-duty look. A cardigan with a collared shirt and a mini skirt pair perfectly for the effortless sporty/chic.
We had some much fun creating these looks and hope you have just as much styling them in your own wardrobe.
